BIO
Ana Miró is a Puerto Rican living in Los Angeles with a passion for the arts. A visual artist, dancer and performer since very young, she was able to find that perfect mix of performing and visual arts in MAKEUP. Ana started doing stage makeup on herself growing up, and then got into theatrical makeup in college, were her love for makeup grew exponentially.
After graduating from a Specialized Visual Arts High School in Puerto Rico, she continued her college studies at the prestigious University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus earning a BA in Theater Arts with a minor in Dance Education. During her college years, she joined the University’s Traveling Theater group where she stumbled upon the only other form of art she would love as much as dancing and visual arts … Makeup.
Just after graduating college Ana moved to LA to keep pursuing her love for the arts and makeup. Throughout the past 6 years she has worked as an arts educator, a makeup artist in several short films and web series, danced in various renowned dance festivals across LA , acted in plays, musicals and short films, and worked as the personal assistant of Pop Artist Burton Morris. Being in LA and surrounded by so much ART, her love for makeup just grew stronger, getting specially interested in Special Effects, TV and Film, for which she decided to go back to school for in 2016. She finalized an Artistry of Makeup Certification from the E.I. School of Professional Makeup, and graduated with honors. She got to refine her beauty and fashion makeup skills, and fell completely in love with sculpting, making prosthetics and applying them.
